Sweet Squad

this started out with me seeing a "design an outfit based on your favorite dessert" thing on tumblr, so I decided to do that with two of my friends RosariaBec and Jrynkows and design lolita outfits for them, as they're the only two friends I know of who are interested in lolita fashion in general.  These were originally supposed to be sketches, but since I actually had a digital painting assignment coming up I decided to finish me for it, then I completed the other two figures and finished it up today as I didn't really want to do my homework and having this big half-finished thing sitting on my computer was bugging me.

This took me...uh...I have NO idea.  I know it was probably 10 hours plus, but I really lost track of time omgg.  However gosh dangit I cannot tell you how proud I am of this, every stupid clothing fold and hand eugh.  I even really like the fashion designs, even though to be honest I am HORRIBLE at designing outfits aha, so this caught me off guard.  I am also for once actually happy with my coloring style, this is how I've always really wanted to color and that I somehow pulled it off is amaZING eugh~

fun fact, I actually modified the faces and the eyes based on each of our personalities, along with the poses its extremely subtle and probably doesn't really mean anything to anyone besides me, Janine and Becca, but eH

may do more clothing studies like this but idk, I REALLY like this coloring style though despite how freakin' time-consuming it is, so expect to see it pop around more often~
