BLESS THIS GROUP _{wow I haven't applied to a new group in like EVAR uh} But yea, my bouncy little sylveon is back! I changed a few aspects to her personality/backstory but for the most part she's still that crazy girl who has an obsession with yaoi and boys.
_{there were SO MANY other things I really should had been doing today besides this but I wanted to get my character in the group before I forgot/lost interest in making her app}

» Personality: Chikaro is that of your typical magical girl heroine. Klutzy, not partically excelling in brightness, naiive, oblivious and has the mysterious ability to eat large amounts of food in one sitting without gaining a noticeable amount of weight. Don't bother trying to tell her that though, because one mention of her potentially being overweight will make her break into tears and convinced that she's now the size of a balloon.

Chikaro will frequently have daydreams that she is a magical girl herself, elaborate fantasies of her saving her school from mysterious beings of darkness trying to take it over. She sometimes likes to pretend she is a magical girl at school, being sneaky and looking for evil atop tall buildings just to make the school day more interesting.

Athletic, narcotic and plain nuts, Chikaro is just waiting for that perfect boyfriend to come along so he can turn over to the dark side and she can save him in all her sparkly glory, not before turning into her ultimate goddess form at the end and having her first kiss in outer space (as is played out in her daydreams over and over again). How she'll be able to do that without having the need to breathe she's not entirely sure, but in her toopsy-turvy life anything can happen.

» Job: Despite being fifteen and a high school student, Chikaro is also a part-time mangaka. She is currently the assistant to a manga artist who creates the magical girl series "Mystic Strawberry Lovely Umi." Chikaro works with a team of artists, she is person who draws the pretty flowers and special magic affects in the background. Due to this she is particularly good at drawing roses and other flowers, as well as pastries, as its what the magical girls in the manga's powers mainly focus around.

Its hectic trying to balance a job, her various sports activites and school together, but the sylveon manages it. She tries to keep the fact she has such a job from her friends at school though-its not because her boss told her not to or whatever, its just the sylveon likes the idea of having a "double life" and wants to keep it a giggly little secret to herself.

» History: How did a bright, bubbly, teenage girl end up working alongside a professional mangaka?

Well, ever since Chikaro was little she was fasinated with the world of magical boys and girls. In fact, when she was younger (due to an unhealthy exposure to anime) she was convinced she was a magical girl herself, and only after months of her going out into public with a sparkley tutu and attempting to save skitties from trees did her parents finally tell her otherwise, or at least told her to put her magical girl identity to rest for the sake of her health and well-being.

Chikaro was disappointed, but that didn't stop her from making anime a part of her life. She started drawing at a young age, copying her beloved T.V. shows and manga books she'd check out at the library. She poured over drawing books and tutorials online. If she couldn't be a magical girl in real life, she could create a world where she was one.

Her parents (probably happy she wasn't putting herself in immediete, life-threatening danger) were more than happy to nuture their daughter's newfound interest. Seeing how Chikaro was actually rather talented at drawing, they sent her to art classes, enrolling her in an art-based academy when she went into middle school.

Due to all this practice and sheer determination, the sylveon grew to be extremely talented at drawing frills, ruffles and flowing hair. She'd slowly collect mangas and watch anime, longing for the day that she too could make people as happy as her idols did.

And that's when she got an idea.

When the sylveon entered highschool, she decided to send in her work to a manga company, in hopes of being picked to work under a professional. While everyone told her it was nuts, even her parents trying to convince her to send her work to a smaller manga company, the sylveon persisted. She walked right into Magi Magi Pop, one of the forefront companies of shoujo mangas, without an appointment and demanded for them to see her portfolio.

The sylveon was thrown out.

However, Chikaro was not one to back down from a fight. After many attempts, and annoyance, she finally got an appointment with the head of the company. Thinking she had great potential despite her young age, they assigned her under a mangaka to learn the ropes.

If all goes well, the president says that Chikaro can even have the opprotunity to pitch her own manga series. The sylveon is currently working on ideas inbetween her busy life, and is debating between a magical boy manga, one where the heroine has to kiss her crush to activate her powers or one where everyone is forced to wear magical tanuki suits.

-While Chikaro is overjoyed she is working in the industry, her eventual dream is to write and draw her own yaoi manga.

-Speaking of yaoi, the sylveon is a HUGE fan of boys love. _{She will secretly start fangirling if she sees two single guys get within a few feet of each other.}

-Chikakro is a hopeless romantic. She likes to flirt with boys and "play the playing field", however she has never attempted a love confession yet, as she feels the boy should confess to her. Its the magical girl way.

-Chikaro, due to her family being japanese, actually knows a decent amount.
-The manga she is working on actually just got a deal to become an anime, and the sylveon is super-ecstatic.

-Chikaro's favorite food is anything strawberry. Strawberry crepes, strawberry shortcake, strawberry parafait, strawberry pocky, heck, anything with strawberries in it

-Is usually found rather flustered and all over the place, as her life is currently chalk-full of boyfriend hunting, sports, school, social life and her job.

-Don't let her get ten feet near a kitchen. Chaos will ensue.

-Has a habit of being late to school for sleeping in late.
